"Creating art is a personal, emotional and exciting journey and painting for oneself is the essence of true creativity." This is my true belief. I have been painting for more than thirty-five years, have owned two art galleries, opened a private art school in Atlanta, have been represented by numerous galleries in Georgia, and have taught classes and workshops extensively over the past ten years. Teaching has become my passion. While holding true to the fundamentals of art including design, value, and color harmony, I encourage students to paint what they enjoy. I think this allows the student to be more engaged in what they are learning–whether it be a still life, figure, portrait or a palette knife painting. I have current print work at Arhaus, Crate & Barrel, Horchow (Neiman Marcus), Pottery Barn, and Sonoma Home.
