How about a PTSA Gift Certificate for the holidays?

This holiday season, make a unique gift at PTSA with the help of a working artist. Paint on glass, or canvas, or a silk scarf. Make a collage or a stained-glass snowflake!

"I have taken a half-dozen classes here and loved every one! Teachers are top notch and prices are reasonable. Classes are kept to a pretty small size so you can get assistance when needed. If I could I would always be attending classes here!" —Becca Knievel

"PTSA has great working-artist teachers, and a fantastic range of students. I am pleased to have the opportunity to be both an instructor and a student at this lovely school. The director of the school is a renowned artist in her own right, and we are very lucky to have such a gem in our little town! Perfect fit for Port Townsend!" —Jesse Joshua Watson

PORT TOWNSEND SCHOOL OF THE ARTS was founded in 2015 by local artists and has quickly emerged as a vital community center for connecting artists and learners of all ages.. Our mission is to “Bring out the artist in all of us.” In less than two years, we have enrolled more than 1100 students from ages 6–85 in more than 175 classes taught by more than sixty exceptional regional artists. We offer scholarships to youth and several free community programs. Please support our mission (and save on classes).

Ginny will be teaching a class in Surface Design of Art Cloth starting January 10th.

Ginny grew up in Blacksburg, Va. and now lives in Port Townsend, Washington with two black Chihuahuas. She is an accomplished and enthusiastic crafts person; an avid doll maker, fiber surface designer, screen printer, seamstress, paper crafter (cards, journals and books), oil painter and fan of all things made with license plates and cookie tins. Students describe her workshops as “big fun,” “results I never dared hope for,” “inspiring,” and “a leap to a new avocation.” She'll be teaching a class in art cloth surface design this winter.
