SATURDAY & SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4 & 5, 10 AM-4 PM

Get lost in color! This workshop is designed to deepen the understanding of color basics through observation, experimentation and exploration. The various “hands on” exercises are designed to create and refine color sensitivity and to expand color palettes. You will create a personal color reference guide by constructing color maps that lead them to mix the color they intend, expand their color repertoire and create a lasting reference guide.

The workshop will consist of a brief lecture, a large amount of “hands on” time to explore assignments and to ask questions, followed by group discussion.

Participants can bring their own paint materials and paper (brushes will be available to use during class time), OR, for a small materials fee of $15.00 to be paid directly to instructor first day of workshop, acrylic paint and pure white Hot Press watercolor paper will be available.
