SATURDAY, MARCH 3, 9 AM-4 PM

Calling all creatives!

Via a series of guided exercises, using the simplest of techniques (scissors and tape), and the most mundane of materials (paperboard packaging – cereal boxes, etc.), we’ll explore the creative process:

-wide open, endless possibility vs. creating within constraint
-quick, extemporaneous creativity vs. contemplative, leisurely work
-solo vs. collaborative
-using words and/or images

You’ll explore depth, illustration, composition and message and express your own thoughts.

You can choose to brown bag or buy lunch on the Fort Worden campus.

No materials fee – no supplies to bring – no advance work – just your creative selves. You can choose to brown bag or buy lunch on the Fort Worden campus. You’ll work individually on the same exercises, then we’ll compare outcomes and process to learn from each other – one of the best parts of the experience – it will be fun to see the differences in work!

Intended for all types: visual artists, writers, musicians, dancers, crafters, etc. Come one, come all. The more, the merrier.
